It is about an 1 1/2 hour drive, keep in mind if you rent a car that the toll roads cost almost $20 euros one way, or you take the non toll roads and it takes close to 2 hours. There is more than enough to keep you busy in Lisbon with just these two day trips. Sintra and Evora are both easy by train. However, the Evora trip will be a long one for just a day trip.
